He also volunteered at an inner city medical clinic serving people without health insurance, studied abroad in Italy, led intramural teams in sprots ranging from flag football to bowling, and made time for the occasional hiking trip or Braves baseball game. Now that Joe is in medical school, his main hobby is studying! "From cycling and studying film in the hilly vineyards of northeast Italy to engineering new treatment strategies for juvenile diabetes to the chance to pursue a medical degree, I have had so many great experiences and opportunities thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Stamps' support. Looking back, my educational experience as a college student was phenomenal, but the exciting reality is that it's only the beginning."
